People’s University is the first non-profit, online, tuition-free. Since its inception in January 2009 UoPeople to free education is determined online, learning a reality for potential candidates from around the world.

People provides access to structured tuition-free online learning programs in business administration and computer science. Candidates may apply globally if there is a high school graduate, with access to a computer and the Internet and have enough knowledge to complete the English-language courses in English only.

Social networks, open source technology and peer-to-peer learning are part of global learning and grading system that students are required to participate fully in the discussions and answer questions raised by teachers and other students in their groups and forums.

The methodology to support peer-to-peer is the continuous presence of the members of the faculty – both staff and volunteer – who provide the necessary support in the learning environment for students as they progress. Tuition free education programs are supported by reputable scholars. A community of educators in the classroom are involved, qualified trainers to monitor the process of evaluating this model of the free online tutoring education.
